ISD series: A series of chips from 10s to 16 minutes, using ELASHRAM flash memory as the IC as the medium, and the voice can be saved after power failure. Features: There is no single-chip microcomputer inside, and the voice quality is high-fidelity without data conversion. There are two types of control: parallel port and serial port control. The control is simple and you can directly control the recording and playback with buttons. The voice can be divided into 256 segments of voice.
GY301 is a single-segment 30-second voice recording and playback chip, and GY600 is a multi-segment voice recording and playback chip with adjustable lengths from 40s to 60s. It can record and playback in segments, and the voice can be saved after power failure. Features: Inconvenient to control.
GY series: There is PROM memory inside the chip. The voice files GY040 (40s can be divided into 32 segments), GY085 (85s), SK170 (170s), and GY341 (340s) can be controlled by microcontroller parallel port and button control. Features of this series: more flexible control and lower price. There is no limit on the number of products. You can choose 3V or 5V power supply.
Standard films (standard sound source type): Standard products produced in large quantities such as various alarm sounds, reversing voices, etc., are very cheap. Such features cannot be changed according to your own situation, including sound quality, tone, control method, etc.
Customized sound source type: Specially produced by users according to their own requirements. It requires design and development, sample production, sample confirmation, chip ordering for tens of thousands of pieces, chip confirmation, delivery, etc. The larger the quantity, the higher the cost. The lower the price on the chip. The characteristic is that it cannot be produced in small batches quickly, the initial investment is large, and there is a film fee.
The first is to first clarify the status of the product order.
(1) For production orders of more than 20,000 yuan, mask chips can be directly selected. (1)
(2) For orders of 5,000 pieces/batch, OTP chip can be selected, and the voice content can be adjusted.
(3) For orders of 1,000 pieces/batch, OTP and ISD chips can be selected.
The second is to see if there is a microcontroller in the product design. If there is, you can choose any of the above chips. If not, it is more convenient to choose 0TP.
The third is to look at the actual performance needs of the product, which can be considered from the following aspects:
1. Do you need to record or modify the content yourself?
2. How long does the voice time take?
3.How many segments need to be divided into
4. How many interface lines are reserved for the microcontroller?
